While we love welcoming patients into our clinic at Dulwich, we understand that seeing us in person isn’t possible for all of our patients. Making podiatry accessible is extremely important to us, which is why we have additional services to aid in this. Virtual appointments [URL:https://dulwichpodiatry.bookmyappointment.co.uk/ ] and home visits are some of the ways that we can ensure that we reach all of our patients.
Our podiatrist Hema Iyavoo looks after all of our home visit patients, so we asked her to share the answers to some commonly asked questions about home visits.
What is a home visit?
A home visit is a service we provide to those patients who are unable to attend the practice in person. This may be due to mobility issues or they may be recovering after a spell in hospital and are unable to come to the practice.
Who qualifies for a home visit?
Anyone is eligible for a home visit if they have any particular reason for not being able to come in person.
What treatments can be done during a home visit?
We carry out routine podiatric treatment.
How much do home visits cost?
Home visits are charged at £93.
What areas do you visit?
We visit the following postcodes: SE4, SE5, SE19, SE21, SE22, SE23, SE24, SE26 and SE27.
If you have any further questions about home visits or are looking to book an appointment (either at home or in clinic), give us a call on 020 8693 6000 and our reception team will be able to advise.
